How to unroll your PVC chair mat？
Trying to get your chair mat to lay flat? Here are some top tips that we find help return the mat to flat format.
For faster and more efficient delivery, as well as easy handling some of our products are packed in a rolled format. When PVC chair mats are rolled they take on a "memory” characteristic.
PVC mats may be difficult to unroll back into its flat form.
Unpack your mat and leave for a minimum of 72 hours at room temperature. Depending on the temperature of the mat when you take delivery and the temperature of your room you may need to leave the mat a bit longer.
Once the mat has reached normal room temperature carefully unroll the mat and place on a flat surface with the "bow” of the mat facing upward. We find that adding some weight to the corners of the mat can really help speed things along. A small pile of books will help hold the corners of the mat down.
As with most household or office product, handle your new chair mat with care at all times. Mats for carpet application have grippers on the underside; take care when handling a gripper mat.
